Job Search FAQ

Do I have to apply for a position through the FCER Career Center or can I visit a FCER facility to apply?

FCER offers an online application only. If you experience issues with the online application process, please email your resume and the title of the position you are interested in to recruiting@adhc.com

I found a position on the FCER Career Center. Is it still available?

FCER’s job search is considered a “live” website. Each position posted on the FCER.com job board is available and open to receive applications. Remember to check FCER.com everyday as the job postings can change on a daily basis.

I saw a posting on a job board, and I can’t locate it on the FCER Career Center. Is it still available?

If you cannot locate the position on the Careers Page, the position is no longer accepting applications. FCER is not responsible for job postings that are out-of-date on other job boards.

If I applied for a position and it is no longer located on the FCER Career Center, does that mean I am no longer being considered?

If you no longer see the position listed on the FCER Career Center, the position has either reached its quota for accepted applications or has been removed from the FCER job board. Please review your Past Job Submittals to check the status of your application.

What are the qualifications for a position? Am I qualified for this position?

Each job posting includes an overview of the position, a job summary section, and a qualifications section. Included in the job qualification are the minimum and preferred qualifications. If you feel you are qualified, please complete the online application.

How can I be sure that my application was complete and that a recruiter received it?

When you apply for a position, you will receive a notice stating, “Thank you for applying,” and you will also receive an automated email showing receipt of your application. You can also check to make sure you completed the application properly by reviewing your submittals. To review your submittals, login to the FCER Career Center and check the Past Job Submittals section.

What is the status of my application and what does that mean?

You can check the status of your application by logging in to the FCER Career Center and checking the Past Job Submittals. When you apply for a position it will state, “Received Submission”. Once the recruiter submits you to the hiring manager, you will see the status change to “Under review”. If you are no longer in the candidate pool for a position it will state, “No longer being considered.”

How do I update my contact information or submit an updated resume?

First, login to the FCER Career Center. Click "update your profile" under the General Options heading. Please update any contact information and click the Update Profile button at the bottom of the page. You will see a notice informing you that "Your information has been updated successfully."

If you have changes to your resume, attach the updated resume by browsing the files on your computer. Once you have updated the resume, click the Update Profile button at the bottom of the page. Again, you will see a notice informing you that "Your information has been updated successfully."

How do I update my application?

First, login to the FCER Career Center. Click the ‘Standard Employment Application ‘button under the iForms to Complete heading. Please update any information necessary and make sure to check the "Signature of Applicant" checkbox at the bottom of the page. When you have completed your updates, please click the Submit button at the bottom of the page. If your information saves correctly, you will be taken back to your home page.

If I am no longer considered for a position, how do I find out why?

Each application is taken under consideration for hire. FCER recruiters have multiple positions to fill and there can be hundreds of applicants for any given position. Typically, applicants will receive an email to reflect the status update of their application. Applicants will be contacted by phone and/or email if their application is selected by the hiring team.

If you are no longer being considered for a position, this does not prevent you from being considered for other positions. With our continued growth, there are always exciting opportunities at First Choice ER.
